Obituary

DANVERS – Mr. Anthony Joseph Bianchi, 86 of Danvers formerly of Revere beloved husband of Josephine E. (Tuccelli) Bianchi passed away on Friday, July 6, 2018 at Beverly Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Revere, he was the son of the late John and Nora (Loicono) Bianchi. He was raised and educated in Revere and attended Revere Public Schools.

An honorably discharged veteran, Anthony proudly served his country as a member of the United States Airforce.

In 1951 Anthony and his wife Josephine founded and created the well-known Bianchi's Pizza at their famous location on Revere Beach where people came from all over just to try the freshly cooked slices straight from the oven. Together, Mr. and Mrs. Bianchi dedicated nearly 60 years to their business serving the many people of the North Shore and beyond.

A loving husband, father and grandfather, Anthony enjoyed sharing and creating memories with his wife, daughters and grandsons. He was an avid and fearless outdoorsman and a member of the Fish & Game Club of Danvers and will be dearly missed by his loving family and friends.

In addition to his wife Josephine with whom he shared 65 years of marriage, Anthony is survived by his daughters, Donna M. Bianchi and her husband Nicholas Coppola of Danvers and Deborah Bianchi and her husband Lewis West of Revere, his grandsons, Nicholas G. Bianchi-Coppola and Anthony J. Bianchi-Coppola, his sister, Arlene DiGregorio of Revere, his brothers, Robert Bianchi of Lynn and John Bianchi, Jr. of FL and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Violet, Rocco, Lorrey, Pat, Albert, Joseph, George and Salvatore Bianchi.

ARRANGEMENTS: At the request of the family, all services are private. Assisting the family with the arrangements is the Peterson-O'Donnell Funeral Home, 167 Maple St., (rte. 62) Danvers.
