SALEM – Mr. William Francis Reardon 68, of Salem, beloved husband of Karyn Ann (O'Donnell) Reardon, died Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston following a courageous battle with Leukemia.

Born in Melrose, he was the son of the late Francis G. and Mary Ann (Dugan) Reardon. He was raised and educated in Melrose and was a graduate of Melrose High School Class of 1967. He continued his education at Norwich University, graduating in 1971. During his high school and college careers Bill was an exceptional athlete, competing on both the varsity Ice Hockey and Golf teams.

Mr. Reardon had been employed as a Salesman for United Liquors working for over 32 years until the time of his retirement, his territory included the North Shore. For over 18 years Bill was the bartender at the Corinthian Yacht Club in Marblehead and more recently had tended bar at the Knights of Columbus in Salem.

A loving family man, Bill relished time spent with his wife and grandchildren and shared a special bond with his nieces and nephews. He was an avid golfer who enjoyed hitting the links with his friends. He was a former member of the Beverly Golf and Tennis Club and a long-time member of the Knights of Columbus, Valloid Council in Salem. Above all else family always came first. He was the ultimate grandfather and was truly over joyed to become a great grandfather. He will be remembered for his dedication to family, his outgoing nature, his passion for golf and sports and his devotion to his loving wife. He will be missed.
