"No words are adequate at times like these but shared emotions can be felt no matter the distance. I'm so grateful I got to share some time with David and the rest of the family at our last reunion. It's comforting to know how close you all are and that David felt that love. He left this world too soon and that hurts but he is with God and all who came before and in that there is some comfort. You are in my heart and I send you my condolences and my love."

"David was such a great friend as we did a lot of growing up together. So many fond memories come flooding back - epic ping pong matches, bicycling to the Maine cabin, my left-handed doubles tennis partner, a fledgling lawn mowing business together (using our Dad's mowers!), Hiking and camping, street hockey, ice hockey - on any pond, stream or puddle ice we could find, and of course our families which we each became a part of the others for awhile. Kristen, Delphine, Beth, George, Brenda, Eileen, and the rest of the Bonnette-y clan, my deepest condolences. David, big guy, thanks for all the great memories; gonna miss you."
"I did not know David, but his wife, Kristin, was our neighbor in Hamilton and her parents and my parents were friends. Kristin, I am so sorry for your loss and for your troubles. I wish you and your family comfort now and always. Michael Parker, Friend and Former neighbor June 25, 2019"
