"Lewis and I both were English as a Second Language Teachers at Northern Essex Community College. Lewis taught in the evening program and I taught during the day.
We met on occasion for special events for both day and evening teachers. I didn't know Lewis well, but I did know that he was highly respected and well-liked and was one of the pillars of the evening ESL program through the years. I experienced him as a kind and thoughtful man who loved his work. We ESL teachers at Northern Essex have a sense of community with each other and he will be missed."
"Aunt Jo and Judith, I am so very sorry for your loss, my thoughts and prayers are with you during this most difficult time. When I last spoke to Lewis he told me he would love to come to Canada to meet his Canadian Cousins and to see his Mothers beloved Miramichi where she grew up, he will be deeply missed by all who knew him."
