BEVERLY – Miss. Haley Paige Jalbert 26, of Beverly, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, February 3, 2019 at her home.

Born in Salem, she was the daughter of Wayne David Jalbert and Elaine Therese (Heckman) Jalbert. She was raised and educated in Beverly and was a graduate of North Shore Recovery High School and received her high school degree from Beverly High School.

Haley had a love and deep passion for dogs since the time she was a little girl. She followed this passion into the animal care field, working at various animal shelters and doggie day care facilities on the North Shore. She was currently employed with Dingos Dogsitting of Beverly.

A beautiful woman inside and out, Haley could not see the beauty she possessed. She fought anxiety and depression for many years and it got the best of her. She struggled and overcame addictions and had been clean and sober for the past 7 months, but ultimately her depression and anxiety was too much to bear. Her battle with depression ultimately took her life.

She began every day with a wide smile and twinkle in her eye. She loved to have fun and laugh and being surrounded by family and friends always brought her great joy. Her passion for animals especially dogs gave her a purpose to live. Dogs were the sunshine of her life and she was happiest when surrounded by canines. If she found a dog needing care, she was relentless until a proper forever home was found. She would always say "Every dog has great potential" and she truly believed it. She was the doggie mother to her beloved Chihuahua Lilly, who was her baby and brought her boundless joy.

A young woman who took great pride in her appearance, Haley loved to dress up and always looked stunning. She was truly beautiful on the inside and out. Her love of family and friends will be her everlasting hallmark. She had many friends and always cherished her family and friends, trips to Old Orchard Beach in Maine. She was kind, loving, caring, breathtakingly beautiful, had a smile that could light up any room and was ultimately good to the core. She is loved and will be forever missed.

Haley is survived by her mother, Elaine Therese (Heckman) Jalbert of Beverly, her fathers, Wayne David Jalbert and Jeff Rounds of Beverly, her brother and bestie, Adam Jalbert of Portland, ME, her maternal grandmother, June M. Heckman of Beverly, her paternal grandparents, Joan and Roland Jalbert of Beverly and Carolyn Rounds-Boris and Bob Boris of New Paltz, N.Y., her best friend, Melissa Shaktman and her daughter Nova Marie and many aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family and friends. She was the granddaughter of the late William Heckman, niece of the late Gail Heckman and cousin of the late Christopher Heckman and Miranda Johnson.
