Message From The Family

Thank you for your support during this difficult time. Please enhance this tribute to Haley Paige by adding your memories and photos.

BEVERLY – Miss. Haley Paige Jalbert 26, of Beverly, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, February 3, 2019 at her home.

Born in Salem, she was the daughter of Wayne David Jalbert and Elaine Therese (Heckman) Jalbert. She was raised and educated in Beverly and was a graduate of North Shore Recovery High School and received her high school degree from Beverly High School.

Haley had a love and deep passion for dogs since the time she was a little girl. She followed this passion into the animal care field, working at various animal shelters and doggie day care facilities on the North Shore. She was currently employed with Dingos Dogsitting of Beverly.

A beautiful woman inside and out, Haley could not see the beauty she possessed. She fought anxiety and depression for many years and it got the best of her. She struggled and overcame addictions and had been clean and sober for the past 7 months, but ultimately her depression and anxiety was too much to bear. Her battle with depression ultimately took her life.

She began every day with a wide smile and twinkle in her eye. She loved to have fun and laugh and being surrounded by family and friends always brought her great joy. Her passion for animals especially dogs gave her a purpose to live. Dogs were the sunshine of her life and she was happiest when surrounded by canines. If she found a dog needing care, she was relentless until a proper forever home was found. She would always say "Every dog has great potential" and she truly believed it. She was the doggie mother to her beloved Chihuahua Lilly, who was her baby and brought her boundless joy.

A young woman who took great pride in her appearance, Haley loved to dress up and always looked stunning. She was truly beautiful on the inside and out. Her love of family and friends will be her everlasting hallmark. She had many friends and always cherished her family and friends, trips to Old Orchard Beach in Maine. She was kind, loving, caring, breathtakingly beautiful, had a smile that could light up any room and was ultimately good to the core. She is loved and will be forever missed.

Haley is survived by her mother, Elaine Therese (Heckman) Jalbert of Beverly, her fathers, Wayne David Jalbert and Jeff Rounds of Beverly, her brother and bestie, Adam Jalbert of Portland, ME, her maternal grandmother, June M. Heckman of Beverly, her paternal grandparents, Joan and Roland Jalbert of Beverly and Carolyn Rounds-Boris and Bob Boris of New Paltz, N.Y., her best friend, Melissa Shaktman and her daughter Nova Marie and many aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family and friends. She was the granddaughter of the late William Heckman, niece of the late Gail Heckman and cousin of the late Christopher Heckman and Miranda Johnson.

ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours in the Peterson-O'Donnell Funeral Home, 167 Maple St., (rte 62) Danvers, Thursday, Feb. 7th from 4 to 7 P.M. Haley was one of the most lovely people I have ever known, inside and out. Her physical beauty was obvious but her inner beauty was her greatest gift. She was immensely kind, caring, considerate, thoughtful and appreciative. Her sense of humor and wit were unmatched and truly entertaining. She enjoyed the Boston Bruins and her love of canine companions was without equal. She will be missed and never forgotten. I loved Haley Jalbert and will always. This I know though...she is in a better place. Free from the torture of addiction and the torment of depression. God Bless you, beautiful soul and I'll see you on "the other side." :) <3><3>

Wayne and family: My sincerest sympathy on your loss. Though I had only met Haley a couple of times (I think the last time was at your father's surprise birthday party at your home a few years ago), I remember her as being a very beautiful young lady. My prayers are with you.

I am so very sorry for your loss of your daughter, Haley--a loss made even more tragic by the beauty and sweetness of this lovely young woman.
It is so hard to understand that depression can rob a person of the ability to see reasons to go on, despite the many reasons others can see. I know how hard you tried to help her.
You are both in my heart and my heart hurts for you.

Dearest Elaine, and family,
There are no words of comfort that can ease the pain of such a devastating loss. This is a cross no parent should have to bear.
I know in my heart that Haley is in Heaven, free from all pain, anxiety, no longer sad, but shining in God's light, finding true peace and happiness.
No doubt she and Gail, and grandfather Bill, are causing a bit of Heavenly mischief with the angels.
She now watches over you and Adam, asking God to bless you both.
Haley is at peace, she is home, and she is free.
I will keep her, and all of you in my prayers.

Dear Elaine, and June, I cannot believe what I just read! I am so very very sorry that this horrible disease has taken such a lovely young soul from us and your family specifically. Her suffering is over now, but unfortunately there will be some for you. Remember there is absolutely no blame for anyone; Sometimes, there are No Answers.
