SALEM – Mrs. Danielle Starr Kibacha Odell, 35 of Salem, passed away unexpectedly due to ongoing medical complications on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at Mass General Hospital in Boston.

Born in Boston, she was the daughter of Rosalia Toni Gerardi and the late Robert Paul Odell, Jr. Raised and educated in Salem, she attended Salem Public Schools.

Danielle worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant throughout the North Shore where she was able to care for and cater to the needs of others.

A loving mother, daughter, sister and friend, Danielle dedicated her life to being a great mom and was always there for her family and friends. She had a unique way of making others feel special with her big heart and was never judgmental. She will be deeply missed.

In addition to her mother Rosalia Toni Gerardi of Salem, Danielle is survived by her husband Stanely Kibacha of Salem, her children, Anthony Jamal Matos, Veronica Starr Matos, Ayden Jamal Matos, and Brielle Starr Kibacha all of Salem, her sister, Tyler Paige Terrio and her fiancé Adanis Reyes of Salem, her brothers Robert Paul Odell, III and his husband Sothear Pich of Salem and Michael Anthony Odell and his wife Emily Siu of Queens, NY, her half-sister Fallon Odell of NH and half-brother, Brian Odell of CA her step-father, Francisco Espinal of Salem, her aunts, Florence V. Gerardi and her husband Paul Leary of Westford and Roberta P. Odell of NH, her uncle, Frank P. Gerardi of Salem, her nieces, Avery Odell, Rosalia Reyes and Gianna Reyes and cousins, Anthony Nichols and Christopher Nichols and his wife Sarah. She is also survived by the father of Veronica and Anthony, Amin Jamal Matos of Lynn and many other extended family members and friends. She was the granddaughter of the late Veronica Ann (Rapino) Gerardi.

ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to attend Danielle's funeral service which will be held in The O'Donnell Funeral Home, 46 Washington Sq., (at Salem Common) Salem on Thursday, May 23rd at 7 P.M.
