DANVERS – Mr. Frank L. Dellazoppa 87, of Danvers, formerly of Middleton, beloved husband of Lorraine (Boucher) Dellazoppa, died May 29, 2019 at his home, surrounded by his loving family.

Born in East Boston, he was the son of the late Mary Dellazoppa. He was raised and educated in East Boston and was a graduate of Boston English High School. Following his service to his country he earned degrees in Electrical Engineering and Business Administration.

An honorably discharged veteran, he proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army during the Korean War.

A trained and talented Electrical Engineer, Mr. Dellazoppa had been employed for many years with the Baird Corporation as Director of Quality, working on many different important projects including those with both military and commercial applications.

A long-time resident of the Town of Middleton, Frank donated his time to the youth of the Tri-Town area by coaching Masco Youth Hockey for many years. He was known for his patience and fair coaching style that endeared him to many of the players. A dedicated sports fan, he was a passionate Red Sox, Bruins and Patriots fan. He was an avid reader, who loved history, gardening and mastering the computer and he could fix almost anything using his keen ingenuity.
