PEABODY-Mr. Gerald P. Sudati, 74, of Peabody, formerly of Lynnfield, passed away Sunday, June 16, 2019 at Hathorne Hill in Danvers, surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Boston, he was the son of the late Alfred and Eleanor (Giannantonio) Sudati. He was raised and educated in Somerville and was a graduate of St. Clements High School in Medford. Gerald continued his education receiving his undergraduate degree from Curry College and his Master's degree in Accounting from Bentley College.

Mr. Sudati began his career at Polaroid, where he worked as a Credit Manager for many years, later he had been employed by George E. Warren where he specialized in Finance and Credit. Always striving to help others and with his " I can do it spirit", Gerald created Kensington Professional Placements where he used his professional contacts, his expertise in his field, to assist many others to find jobs and begin their own professional careers.

A life-long gifted athlete, Gerry was a member of Curry College Hall of Fame where he played football, basketball and baseball during his college days. Following college he played semi-pro baseball for the Kansas City Athletics. He was an avid golfer and a member of the Andover Country Club, playing many rounds of golf with his family and friends enjoying the competition and comradery.

Most important of all to Gerry was his family; there was no denying his love for them and their love for him. He had a giant personality and a great sense of humor which he used to regale his family with his unique stories and prolific joke telling. He was a loving father and grandfather who was passionate about being involved in his children's and grandchildren's lives. He loved participating in their many activities, sharing in their many milestones and was immensely proud of their many accomplishments. He will be deeply missed and affectionately remembered for his contagious smile, great sense of humor and love for his family.

Surviving Gerry are his children, Stephanie Greenway and her husband Jared of Windham, NH, Jeffrey Sudati of Peabody and Jason Sudati and his wife Kristen of Windham, NH, and his grandchildren, Justin Sudati and Ethan Sudati.

My deepest condolences to Gerry's family. I was lucky to get to know Gerry at Andover Country Club where he was legendary. We shared many good times there and I will miss him. The club will be less without his personality. Rest in Peace.

Boob Boom, you were absolutely the best story teller in the world! And you could embellish all of them better than anyone else. I will miss you.

Jeff, Jason and Stephanie,
I'm so sorry to hear of the loss of your father. To say that your father commanded any room he was in would be an understatement. His presence was strong and his laughter was bold and contagious. I will always have fond memories of being around him. Unfortunately, I won't be able to make the services as I live in Ohio now, but I'm glad that Pete and Daryl will be there to give you the Hampton Court love and support you deserve. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your families.
