SUGAR HILL, NEW HAMPSHIRE – Mr. G. Thomas Francis 75, of Sugar Hill, N.H., died Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at the Hospice House in Lebanon, N.H. surrounded by his family.

Born in Melrose, he was the son of the late Gordon Lambert and Catherine Louise (Concannon) Francis. He was raised and educated in Melrose and was a graduate of Melrose High School. He continued his education at Burdett College, where he earned his bachelors Degree. During his college years he was employed as the Assistant Manager of the Men's Clothing Department at Gem's.

Mr. Francis began his professional career in the purchasing Department of the former Schrafft's Candy Company. He then became the Plant Manger for over 29 years for Bleyer Industries, a paper converting company. He then became a consultant for Sunset Paper where he worked for 7 years and most recently was a consultant for Francis Packaging in Louisville, Kentucky. He had resided in Melrose, Stoneham, Gloucester and currently, Sugar Hill, N.H.,

Tom had many passions in life including golf, fishing, reading, his gun club and food but above all else family was always paramount. he will be deeply missed.

Thomas is survived by his loving wife, Ingrid Karin Ogren Francis of Sugar Hill, N.H., his children, Deborah McGuire and her husband Richard of North Reading and their children, Richie, Ryan and Madison, Renee Petersen and her husband William of Wakefield and their son Nicholas and Mark Percy and his wife Suzanne of Barrington, N.H. and their children, Erin, Meghan and Jack and many beloved cousins and friends.

ARRANGEMENTS: His funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Mary of the Annunciation Church, Hebert St., Melrose, Tuesday, May 15th at 10:30 A.M. Relatives and friends invited. Burial in Wyoming Cemetery, Melrose, gathering for family & relatives to follow burial. Visiting hours in the Peterson-O'Donnell Funeral Home, 167 Maple St., (rte. 62) Danvers, Monday, May 14th from 4 to 7 P.M. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Tom's memory to the American Cancer Society, 75 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
