Obituary

BEVERLY – Mrs. Miriam (Harris) "Mim" Goodwin, 78 of Beverly, beloved wife of Carl A. "Bud" Goodwin, died Thursday, January 4, 2018 at Addison Gilbert Hospital in Gloucester surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Beverly, she was the daughter of the late John H. and Miriam (Franks) Harris. Raised and educated in Beverly, she attended Beverly Public Schools and was a graduate of Beverly High School.

A devoted and kind woman, Mim had worked as a Nurses' Aide for several years caring her many patients throughout the North Shore.

A loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Mim was the happiest when with her family. She spent nearly four years living in New Mexico and loved to travel and experience different places with her family and friends. She will be deeply missed.

In addition to her husband Carl "Bud" Goodwin with whom she shared many happy years of marriage, Mim is survived by her sons; John Goodwin and his wife Sally of Londonderry, NH, Richard G. Goodwin and his wife Valeri of Barrie, VT, Edward A. Goodwin and his wife Gina of Peabody and William D. Goodwin and his wife Michelle of Derry, NH, her 19 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren, her sister; Jean Harris of Georgia and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Claista Cook.

ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours in the Peterson-O'Donnell Funeral Home, 167 Maple St. (rte. 62) Danvers, on Tuesday, January 9th from 10 to 11 A.M.
