SALEM- Mrs. Carol (Dube) King, 64, of Salem, died suddenly Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at her home.
Born in Salem she was the daughter of the late George and Lucette (Vallee) Dube. She was raised and educated in Salem and was a graduate of Ste. Chretienne Academy. Carol continued her education at Salem State University where she received her Bachelor's Degree in Social Work.
Mrs. King had been employed as a Social Worker at Lahey Behavioral Health in Beverly for many years. Through her kind and caring spirit and dedication to her profession, she was able to help many people.
A lifelong resident of the City of Salem, Carol will be greatly missed by her family, friends and the many lives she touched along the way.
Surviving Carol are her daughter Hannah King of Marblehead, sister Elaine Fernald of Salem, two nephews Brandon Fernald of Danvers and Brent Fernald of Dracut, and her grandnephew Logan Fernald of Danvers.
ARRANGEMENTS: Her funeral service will be held graveside in Montefiore Cemetery, Fuller St., Everett, Friday December30, 2016 at 11A.M. Relatives and friends invited. Assisting the family with the arrangements is The O'Donnell Funeral Home, 46 Washington Sq., (on Salem Common) Salem. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be made in Carol's memory to Northeast Animal Shelter, 347 Highland Ave., Salem, MA 01970 or to a charity of one's choice.
