SALEM- Mrs. Emilia (Kantorosinska) Jankowski, 97, of Peabody, formerly of Salem, beloved wife of the late Zygmunt Jankowski, with whom she shared 58 years of marriage, died peacefully, Saturday, November 19, 2016 at home, surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Piotr and Victoria (Sadowski) Kantorosinski. She was raised and educated in Salem and attended Salem Public Schools.

Mrs. Jankowski had been employed as a Supervisor at the former GTE Sylvania, Sylvan St. facility and was a hardworking, dedicated employee for over 32 years until the time of her retirement.

A lifelong resident of the City of Salem, Emilia was very proud of her Polish heritage. She was a communicant of St. John the Baptist Polish Church, Salem, a member of their Holy Rosary Sodality and volunteered for many activities including the annual Polish Festival.

Emilia loved her family and doted upon her many nieces and nephews, she enjoyed attending family gatherings and attending the many activities that comes with a large family. She was loved and will be deeply missed.

Emilia is survived by her three nieces, Margaret Santerre and her husband Shawn of Peabody, with whom she resided, Elizabeth Kantorosinski of Salem and Eva Alasad of Texas, four nephews, Stanley Kantorosinski and his wife Maryla of Swampscott, Henry Kantorosinski and his wife Patricia, Mirek Kantorosinski of Salem, and Zbigniew Kantorosinski of Washington, DC, a sister Barbara Soulard of Salem, sister-in-law, Danuta Kantorosinski of Salem, three grandnephews; Andrew, Aidan, and Danny, and a grandniece Jennifer. She was also the sister of the late Stanley, Henry, John and Ted Kantorosinski and aunt of the late Teddy Kantorosinski.

Arrangements: Her funeral Mass will be held in St. John the Baptist Polish Church, 28 St. Peter St., WEDNESDAY November 23rd at 11:30 A.M. Relatives and friends invited. Burial in St. Mary's Cemetery. Visiting hours in The O'Donnell Funeral Home, 46 Washington Sq., (at Salem Common) Salem, Monday (TODAY) from 4 o 7 P.M. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Emilia's memory to All Care Hospice, 210 Market Street, Lynn, MA 01901.
