SALEM- Mr. James Gordon Lee, 87, of Beverly, formerly of Salem, died Saturday, December 17, 2016 at Beverly Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Salem, he was the son of the late Francis A. and Ethel (Fellows) Lee. He was raised and educated in Salem.

Mr. Lee had been employed for many years at the former North Shore Diner and was well known by all those who frequented the Diner.

A longtime resident of Salem and Beverly, he was a loyal Red Sox fan and an avid weather watcher. Mr. Lee frequented many of the Dunkin Donuts throughout the North Shore making many friends as well as at the Day by Day Center in Gloucester.

Family was most important to Jim and he will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.

Jim is survived by his two sisters, Joanne Malionek and Nancy Rybicki both of Salem, one brother, John J. Lee of Danvers, formerly of Salem and many, many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two sisters, Mary E. McCarthy and Patricia Myslinski and four brothers, Daniel W. Lee, C. Arthur Lee, Robert C. Lee and Everett S. Lee.

ARRANGEMENTS: His Funeral Service will be held in the Peterson O'Donnell Funeral Home, 167 Maple St., (Rte 62) Danvers, Tuesday, December 20th at 1 P.M.. Relatives and friends invited. Burial in St. Mary's Cemetery, Salem. Visiting hours, prior to the service, from 11 A.M. to 1 P.M..
