DANVERS- Mrs. Jeanne Alice Chase beloved wife of the late Andrew Malcom Chase, died March 20, 2012 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers, surrounded by her family following a short illness.

Born in Danvers, she was the daughter of the late William and Gertrude (Turner) Lunt. She was raised and educated in Danvers and was a graduate of the former Holten High School.

A loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother, Jeanne was truly dedicated to her family and friends.

She was a long time active member of the Maple Street Congregational Church in Danvers, she was a member of the Women's Guild at the Church and the Maple Eves. Jeanne had a passion for helping others, she dedicated much of her time to the International Medical Equipment Collaborative. She volunteered up until the time of her illness. She will be deeply missed.

Jeanne is survived by her daughters, Sandra St. Claire and her husband Harry of Danvers and Cheryl Chase and her partner Noel Halupowski of Danvers, her son, Dana Chase and his wife Julie of Danvers, her beloved grandchildren, Taryn Chase of Somerville, Danielle Chase of Manhattan, New York, Michael St. Claire and Christopher St. Claire both of Danvers and several nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late William Lunt and Patricia Moore.

ARRANGEMENTS: Her funeral service will be held in the Maple Street Congregational Church, Maple St., Danvers, Tuesday at 10 A. M. Relatives and friends invited. As requested visiting hours omitted. Burial is private. Assisting the family with the arrangements is the Peterson-O'Donnell Funeral Home 167 Maple St., (Rte. 62) Danvers. Expressions of sympathy may be made in Jeanne's memory to IMEC, 1600 Osgood St., North Andover, MA 01845.
