DANVERS- Mrs. Loretta Josephine (Przypek) Stepchin 87of Danvers, formerly of Salem, beloved wife of the late Frank Stepchin, died May 16th, 2016 at Beverly Hospital.

Born in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Karol and Apollonia (Dobosz) Przypek. She was raised and educated in Salem and was a graduate of Salem High School.

Mrs. Stepchin had been employed with Sylvania for over 20 years at the Loring Avenue Plant until the time of her retirement in 2003. More recently, Loretta had been employed with Winfrey's Fudge in Beverly and in Rowley.

A loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Loretta, enjoyed spending time with her family. She was an avid reader who especially loved to travel to Sanford, Maine and spend time at their summer home. Family was always first in Loretta's life and she took great pleasure seeing her family grow and succeed. She will be deeply missed.

Loretta is survived by her children, Richard F. Stepchin and his wife Catharine of Melrose, Michael Stepchin of Peabody, Linda Walsh and her husband William of Dover, N.H. and Lorraine Stepchin of Dover, N.H., her three grandchildren, Elizabeth Stepchin, Jennifer Walsh and Ryan Walsh, her great grandson John Robert Marry IV, her sister Helen Brush of Scottsdale, AZ and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Arthur Przypek and Matilda Jordan.

ARRANGEMENTS: Her funeral will be held from The O'Donnell Funeral Home 46 Washington Sq., (at Salem Common) Salem, Friday, May 20th at 9:15 A.M. followed by her funeral Mass in St. John the Baptist Polish Church, St. Peter St., Salem, at 10 A.M. Relatives and friends invited. Burial in St. Mary's Cemetery, Salem. Visiting hours Thursday, May 19th from 4 to 7 P.M.
