Mrs. Regina S. (Pierga) Jackimowicz, 90, of Medford, formerly of Salem, beloved wife of the late Felix Jackimowicz, died peacefully, Monday April, 11, 2016 at Winchester Hospital. The family thanks the many healthcare professionals at the Vanguard Medical Associates in Medford, for their wonderful and loving care of Regina during her long illness.

Born in Salem, she was the daughter of the late, Walter P. and Stella (Nowak) Pierga. She was raised and educated in Salem, attended St. John the Baptist Polish School and was a graduate of Salem High School.

As a young woman Regina had been employed at the former Pequot Mills and at the time of her retirement she had been employed by Parker Brothers Game Company as a Supervisor for many years.

A longtime resident of the City of Medford, where she has resided since her marriage, Regina was a faithful and generous supporter of St. Joseph's Church in Medford. Family is what brought Regina her greatest pleasure; she was a loving wife, sister and aunt. One of her greatest joys, was spoiling her many nieces and nephews, and sharing their many milestones and accomplishments. She will be deeply missed.

Surviving Regina is her brother, Leo Pierga of Salem and her many nieces, nephews and several great nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Frederick and Boleslaus Pierga, Alice Burda, Sophie Ambrefe and Helen Lefas.

Arrangements: Her Funeral Service will be held in The O'Donnell Funeral Home, 46 Washington Sq., (at Salem Common) Salem on Tuesday April 19, 2016 at 11:00A.M. Relatives and friends invited. Burial in St. Mary's Cemetery. Visiting hours prior to the service from 9 to 11:00 A.M. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Regina's memory to the Cheyenne River Indian Outreach, 121 Grand Mark Ave., P.O. Box 969, Eagle Butte, SD 57625-9069.
