BEVERLY - Mr. Richard H. Belanger, 77 of Beverly, beloved husband of Priscilla (Ambrose) Belanger passed away on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at Care One at Essex Park with his wife by his side.

Born in Salem, he was the son of the late Albert and Laura (Nadeau) Belanger. Raised and educated in Salem, Mr. Belanger attended Salem Public Schools.

A leather worker by trade, Mr. Belanger was employed with Creese and Cook Leather Company in Danvers for 18 years upon his retirement.

An honorably discharged veteran, Mr. Belanger proudly served our country in the United States Army Reserves as a PVT E-2 for 3 years.

He enjoyed trips to Foxwoods and was an avid Red Sox and Patriot's fan.

In addition to his wife Priscilla of 36 years, he is survived by his step-son Rick Arroyo of Beverly, his two granddaughters, one grandson and several great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers, Larry Belanger of Lowell and Kenny Belanger of Beverly, his sister, Patricia Fallis of Swampscott, his brothers-in-law, Charles Ambrose and his wife Joan of Peabody and Gordon Ambrose of Beverly, his sisters-in-law Eleanor Grimes, Hattie Sholds and Barbara Allen all of Beverly and Lucy Ouellette of Jupiter, FL. He was predeceased by his step-son Michael Arroyo.

ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service which will be held graveside on Tuesday, October 25 at Greenlawn Cemetery, 57 Orne St., Salem at 12 Noon. Assisting the family with arrangements is The O'Donnell Funeral Home, 46 Washington Sq., (at Salem Common) Salem.
